Some props usedin our trailer.

Props used throughout our trailer.

These are some of the props we used for our trailer. We used the tiaras and wings as part of our characters fancy dress costumes for the party. We used party poppers, shot glasses and clear plastic cups for the party scene to show what kind of party they were at. we used the rope as a weapon for the hooded figure in which she appears in the trailer with. We used tomato ketchup as blood because it was more effective than fake blood. The CD case was used to film some footage to make it look like the two girls were being spied on.

Edits within our trailer

With this edit we put footage we film on top of other footage because we thought that the party scene filmed wasn't as good as we wanted it to be, however we wanted to include this in our trailer so we decided to layer them together because it looked good on top of the other piece of footage and was relevant to each other. This is effective because we are able to show where the girls were coming out of and it made sense as too why they were covered in party string and why they were dressed up.

We decided to edit the footage of the girls burying the body and made it black and white to show that this is a flashback. This is effective because it shows why the girls are going through what they are and it also shows a bit of what the text they received outside of the party was about.

When we edited this piece of footage we decided to make it black and white to show that it is a flashback and we also made it flash to show that this was when everything was all good and they were all innocent and hadn't done anything wrong. This is effective because it shows that before everything went wrong the girls were close and they were walking through college without a care in the world.
